I do sleep on the mattress by myself (in the middle), and have the Mattress Genie inflated to nearly max, and I also have a cushion under my knees. The mattress does not slide around at all, and with this setup I sleep very well.It's a good product, it works just the way the advertising says it works, and I enjoy the novility of having an "adjustable" bed. Overall, thumbs up!!
